Lodging:  We have arranged discounts at the following hotels and lodging options:
  • Condominium and House Rentals: Mountain Reservations.   877.719.2900 Ask for Andre or someone on his team. Condominium and House rentals can be a good option in Park City in October (which is considered to be our “off-season”).  Condos and houses could be especially fun and economical for larger groups of people to come together and rent.  The folks at Mountain Reservations can work with you to get a house or condo in close proximity to the ceremony and reception sites.  They will work with you on a special discount based on the property that you rent.
  • The Silver Queen Hotel.  632 Main Street Park City, Utah 84060      435.649.5986   The Silver Queen is located on the corner of Historic Main Street and Heber Avenue.  The Silver Queen Hotel has one and two bedroom units that can be reserved at a discounted rate of $159 and $225 a night, when you mention the Thompson- Shoumatoff wedding.  The Silver Queen is across the street from our reception venue.  www.silverqueenhotel.com
  • The Park Station Hotel. 950 Park Avenue Park City, Utah 84060    435.655-3315  Make sure you ask for Pam or Gay-Lynn and mention the Shoumatoff-Thompson wedding on October 4th.  The Park Station Hotel is a great old brick building within walking distance (two blocks) from the ceremony and reception sites.  The Park Station is a more economical option but still nice units.  You can reserve rooms for the following discounted nightly rates: (30% off) $77 for a basic hotel room, $98 for a 1 Bedroom, $126 for a 2 bedroom/ 1 bath, $140 for a 2 bedroom/ 2 bath and $182 for a 3 bedroom/ 2 bath.  Make sure you mention the Thompson- Shoumatoff wedding!  www.parkstationpc.com

Travel:  The closest airport is Salt Lake City International Airport, which is about 35 minutes away from downtown Park City.  Delta, Southwest and Jet Blue all have many flights in and out of Salt Lake City, and may be a good starting point for your flight search.

If you are choosing to stay in Historic Old Town, you may not want or need to rent a car.  There is a wonderful free bus system (that runs on biodiesel) that runs throughout town and most of Park City is small and quaint and within walking distance.  Airport shuttles and rental cars can be reserved through Mountain Reservations at 877.719.2900 (again, ask for Andre or someone on his team).

Events and Things To Do:  The Park City area has dozens possible activities to offer!  Hiking, biking, shopping, good food, scenic drives, checking out the Olympic Park and some of the Olympic heritage, going to Sundance Resort (Robert Redford's ski area), you name it!  Check out the following sites for a little more info...!
